Cybersecurity Analyst
Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard our digital assets and client information. In this role, you will monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security logs and network traffic for suspicious activity
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security tools and technologies
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
- Respond to security incidents and perform forensic analysis
- Provide security awareness training to employees
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve security posture
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field
- Knowledge of network security principles and technologies
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
- Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience with incident response and forensic analysis
- Understanding of threat intelligence and threat modeling
- Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS)
